What is problem-solving?

“Problem” Nobody else in the whole world who doesn’t have a problem or who doesn’t face the problem. We all are facing problems. Is no matter how big problem and how a small problem. So doesn’t panic about the problem because problem always teaches a special lesson in our life. Also problems always together a solution comes. If you don’t know how to solve your problem then I am going to explain here what is problem-solving?

The meaning of problem-solving is the process of defining a problem, determining its causes, and implementing a solution. It involves action, thoughts, decision making, and discussions that occur from the first consideration of a problematic situation to the goals. (What is problem-solving). So here is I am going to explain about which is the perfects and best way of techniques of time management which can change your daily life and make you a valuable person.

The problem-solving steps are dedicated to the following points.

Identify and Define the problem

Step one is to identify and define the problem. If you are facing any problem first upon identifying the context background, and symptoms of the issue. Once you can identify what the problem is, then you can investigate how the problem affects others and who it affects. After you accomplish the investigation then think about how urgent/important it is to resolve the symptoms. At this stage, you will use techniques such as

  • Brainstorming
  • Interviewing
  • Questionnaires
  • As this step continues, the ps group will constantly revise the definition of the problem. As more symptoms are found, it clarifies what the real problem is.
Develop alternatives solution

The second one is to develop an alternative solution. Just deeply think about the problem which you are facing or another problem. you have to deal with has more solution to it than the one that you think of first. that’s the reason always develop a best alternatives list of solutions that you and your team members can investigate and define which one will be the best for the specific problem. Especially most people always use the 1/3+1 rules which can create consensus around one of the top two or three solutions which are the best for everyone involved.

Then what resources do you have, rank those solutions based on efficiency, cost, long-term value, and that you can commit to the solution of the problem? (What is problem-solving).

Implement the problem solution

The third one is to implement the solution. Once the solution is decided then implementation of the solution includes creating an implementation plan. If something goes wrong with the solution if it doesn’t work out the way thought it would. then the implementation could also include planning and execution on what happens next. The process of implementation means by the whole members of your team understands and knows their part in making the solution work. that there are timelines for planning and execution and also that you have a system in place to track whether or not the solution has corrected the problem.

The fourth one is selecting the best solution. Think and decided which is the best solution for your plan is called selecting the best solution. Because there are many options and whole options between select those solutions which solution to keep and which to disregard. The best solution is how to select. it can be dedicated to the following points.

  1. That type of solution selected can solve the problem smoothly without creating another problem.
  2. Which is acceptable to everyone involved
  3. Which is also practical and easy to implement
  4. It fits within the company’s policies and procedures
Look for root causes

And last third one is to look for root causes. This process involves asking and answering a lot of questions. Ask questions like that who is responsible for these problems? why did this happen? what caused this problem? where does it hurt us the most? when did this problem first emerge? how do we go about resolving this problem? how did variance from the standard come to be? also it involves tasks the most important question like that can we solve this problem for good so it will never occur again? Because coming up with a solution with the most important aspect to leadership that because for long term benefits people can use, rather than having to deal with the same problems over and over again. And the last one is to measure the results. Measure the results mean by which step of solution you are selected. they all are how to improve your organization? Did they all are work?
