Former Kansas City Thunder players Perry Ellis and David McCormack played each other in an FIBA Europe Cup match in France on Wednesday.

Ellis' Cholet Basket team defeated McCormack's Besiktas JK squad 93-62 in Munich in a Group D semifinal. Besiktas JK is a Turkish football team.

Ellis, a 6-foot-8 forward from Wichita who turned 29 on Sept. 14, scored 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting while starting and playing 22 minutes for the home team.

In his half-time showing, Williams hit 6-of-9 shots and was 1-of-3 from three.

Ellis added three rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot.

McCormack, a 6-foot-10, 23-year-old forward from Norfolk, Virginia, scored 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting. His effort came out on top 3-4.

McCormack finished with seven points and four assists in 29 minutes.

The FIBA Europe Cup qualifiers will determine slots for the regular season.

Seven teams qualify for the regular season through qualifiers, according to the National League.
